What are PTR Records?
PTR (Pointer) records are used for reverse DNS lookups, mapping an IP address to a domain name. They are the opposite of A or AAAA records, which map domain names to IP addresses.
PTR records are important for email deliverability, as many mail servers check if the sending IP has a valid PTR record that matches the sending domain to reduce spam.
PTR records are managed by the owner of the IP address, usually your ISP or hosting provider
